Wow! This Cape Epic was a beast to conquer. Ann Elizabeth Harrison was a fantastic partner: kind, patient and so strong! Thank you my friend! We surprised ourselves by finishing 3rd in the Grand Masters category. On occasion we even dabbled with second position. Podium girls! In my wildest dreams I could never have imagined standing on a podium at the Cape Epic. Getting older ain't so bad! If this is life after menopause, then sign me up!

Thank you Absa South Africa and #sheuntamed for this huge opportunity and privilege to ride this event. As women age after 50, it is easy (and very common) for us to feel like our best days are gone. But #sheuntamed promotes inclusivity and representation, irrespective of age, gender, race and social standing. Thank you Tina Venter for your vision and work to make this a reality. Thank you ABSA for telling every story! Even those of the Grandmasters. Thank you Playmakers.
